Hurricane Relief Opportunities for Florida Students and Schools

Amid the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, there are unmet needs when it comes to our students, teachers and public schools.

Many of Florida’s local education foundations are stepping in to do what they can to fill the gap.  Some have already established funds including the ones listed below. Others are still determining where they can best respond to local needs – including those of an unexpected influx of students from Puerto Rico and other devastated areas of the Caribbean.

If you’d like to help Florida students move forward and you’re in an affected area, check in with your local education foundation to see how you can help.  Or you can give through our statewide organization with our pledge that we will pass along 100% of your contribution to an identified school community need.
