2026 ConnectED Spring Conference

April 17, 2026

The Consortium’s 2026 Spring Conference brought together members from across the state for two days of learning, collaboration, and forward-thinking conversation focused on the role of artificial intelligence in education foundations. Held at the University of Florida College of Education, the conference centered on a clear message: AI is not about replacing people, but about creating efficiencies that allow teams to focus more on strategy, relationships, and impact.

Through a mix of keynote sessions, panels, and hands-on breakouts, attendees explored how AI can streamline daily operations, strengthen fundraising efforts, and enhance marketing and communications. Sessions also highlighted statewide developments through Florida’s K-12 AI Education Task Force, helping members better understand what is coming next and how to prepare their organizations.

Breakout sessions offered practical tools and peer-led insights across programs, fundraising, and communications, along with discussions on expanding STEM opportunities through partners like Woz Ed. Attendees also heard from new Matching Grant partner Bizi, as well as experts guiding foundations from AI users to AI beneficiaries.

Tracy Porter from Polk Education Foundation shared, “our team truly enjoyed the Spring Conference and the AI integration lessons we will be taking back to our school district. Our team has not optimized Artificial Intelligence to its full extent, but now, want to incorporate AI moments into our weekly meetings and establish mutual platforms so that our material is consistent and reflects our mission. Thank you greatly for this opportunity!”

The Consortium thanks Suncoast Credit Union, presenting sponsor, and all partners for their continued commitment to supporting education foundations across Florida.
