No. The online purchase or renewal method is brought to you as a simple courtesy by the Indian River County Tax Collectors Office.
Your contributions from purchasing or renewing a Support Education specialty license plate through this method will go directly back to the county where your license plate is registered.

I have the old Support Education license plate. Can I keep my plate number when I change to the new plate?
Yes, but it will be considered a “customized plate” with an additional $15/year fee, in addition to the fees listed above.

Please bring your driver’s license, vehicle registration, and payment.
Do I need to surrender my current plate when I upgrade?
No, your old license plate does not need to be surrendered.
